CHALLENGE & SOLUTION
With the ambition to set off the launch of our new division CUBE ESPORTS and target nationwide eSport fans aged between 15-25, we developed the sports magazine web format ESPORT TV hosted by CUBE creator and internationally renowned eSport star Emil “HeatoN” Christensen.
Using an easy-going and humoristic tone, ESPORT TV summarizes the largest eSport happenings around the globe and provides weekly highlights and a unique insight into the international eSport scene to the viewers. To provide the viewers with interesting new segments, Emil invites top names in the industry and was for the first and second season assisted by the two eSport experts Peter Strömberg and Erik Askered.
ESPORT TV by CUBE is one of the strongest entertainment formats in the country and reaches over 150.000 viewers weekly. Previous sponsors include Vitamin Well, Huawei, Kindred Group, HP, Samsung, Betspawn and Motorola. The broadcast rights for ESPORT TV were initially bought by Metro Media House followed by MTG/ViaPlay, and the latest season will be aired on Sweden’s largest news media house Aftonbladet TV.
